Hooker Valley Track closed beyond Mount Sefton View Lookout

The Hooker Valley Track is closed beyond Kakīroa / Mount Sefton View Lookout while a new bridge is being built. DOC says the full track is expected to reopen in Autumn 2026. Do not cross barriers or attempt to cross the Hooker River.Official details
