Königsbach Waterfall Gumpen area closed

Do not enter the extensive closure around the “Gumpen” pools at the Königsbach Waterfall on Königssee. - The area is a vegetation-protection area closed to visitors since 1 July 2021; the restriction protects vegetation that is recovering slowly and steadily. - The National Park’s current trail-status page reports no other trail closures. Check current trail conditions and the Gumpen closure before traveling.Official details
