Santa Barbara Island: Landing Dock Closed

The landing dock at Santa Barbara Island is closed indefinitely due to severe storm damage. As a result, Island Packers has suspended public ferry service to the island. Access is currently limited to private boaters who can transport themselves from their vessel to a rocky ledge adjacent to the former dock. Boaters must exercise extreme caution and assess tide and swell conditions before attempting a landing. The National Park Service does not expect repairs to be completed in the near future.Official details
