Flume Gorge Short Trail/Rim Path closed
The Short Trail/Rim Path at Flume Gorge is closed; visitors must complete the full 2-mile loop. - Start at the check-in booths in front of the Flume Building and finish at the Flume Building. - Allow approximately 1.5 hours; the route includes moderate uphill walking and lots of stairs. - The trail is mostly packed gravel with boardwalk sections; appropriate footwear is recommended. - During maintenance closures, do not enter trails within the Flume Gorge property because the restriction protects visitor and crew safety.
