When driving, slow down and keep a safe following distance: roads are partly wet and slippery, fog reduces visibility in the interior, and rock sliding is possible.

• HAK asks drivers to adjust speed and driving to road conditions; traffic difficulties can also occur in roadwork areas.

Expect lane restrictions, temporary stops and a short road closure on the A1, A6 and DC1; allow extra time and follow detours and traffic controls.

• A1, Gornja Ploča–Sveti Rok (km 204–209): one lane is open in each direction until 14 December because the Grabara and Ričica bridges are being repaired.
• A6 roadworks through 29 October: one lane is open toward Rijeka at the Golubinjak viaduct between Delnice and Vrata, and traffic uses one lane in each direction between the Podvugleš and Javorova Kosa tunnels (60 km/h).
• A6, Rijeka toll plaza–Kikovica: until 31 October, traffic in both directions is stopped three times for up to 15 minutes between midnight and 04:00 because of abnormal-load transport.
• A6, Delnice–Vrata: traffic in both directions is scheduled to stop for about 15 minutes on 27 October, 14:00–14:30; if the weather is bad, the stop is scheduled for 28 October.
• DC1, Turanj bypass (Karlovac–Cerovac Vukmanički): closed 07:00–15:00 through 27 October; follow the detour via DC542–Mostanje–Turanj–Jelaši–Cerovac Vukmanički.
