Stage 1 Fire Restrictions in Effect
Stage 1 fire restrictions remain in place in Sequoia National Park. Wood and charcoal fires, including wood-burning stoves, are prohibited in developed campgrounds below 3,000 feet and in wilderness below 6,000 feet. Gas, propane, alcohol, and tablet/cube stoves are allowed; smoking is also prohibited below 6,000 feet with limited exceptions.
