Dunes Drive safety corridor and Interdune Boardwalk closure

Drive through the Dunes Drive safety corridor between mile markers 3 and 5.5 without stopping, parking, or exiting your vehicle. - Dunes Drive is open through the corridor, but stopping, parking, or exiting a motor vehicle is prohibited unless you have expressed written consent or are directed by a law-enforcement ranger. - The area south of Dunes Drive within the corridor is closed to all foot, horse, and other traffic, and Interdune Boardwalk is closed. - The closure is for public safety and supports recovery from the recent U.S. Air Force mishap in the park; it is in effect until further notice and may be reimplemented later. - Visit the park visitor center for alternatives to Interdune Boardwalk and questions about how the corridor affects your visit.
