Wawona Hotel complex is closed
The Wawona Hotel complex and designated surrounding areas are closed to public access because structural concerns identified during Main Building roof replacement created structural hazards requiring assessment and rehabilitation work. - The closure includes all buildings in the complex: the Main Building, Moore Cottage, Washburn Cottage, Clark Cottage, Little White, the Annex, and the swimming pool. - Areas enclosed by fencing, barricades, or other delineators, and areas posted with closure notifications, are also closed. - The closure remains in effect until rescinded to maintain public health and safety. Construction crews, emergency personnel, and Hill Studio are exempt. Check the current Wawona closure notice before visiting.Official detailsClosure
