Grand Teton alerts

Construction is causing current road and area closures and delays across Grand Teton; use the signed Taggart Trail detour.

• Moose-Wilson Road is closed between Moose and Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve; expect occasional short delays between Granite Entrance and the Preserve. The road is being realigned, and portions are closed to safely transport equipment and materials to Death Canyon Road. The closure schedule runs through November 15.
• Death Canyon Road and Trailhead are closed to all use. Start hikes at alternative trailheads such as Granite Canyon, Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve, and Taggart Lake.
• US Highway 26/89/191 south of Moran Junction is under construction; expect 20-minute delays in both directions.
• Possible intermittent delays may occur on Teton Park Road at Cottonwood Creek Picnic Area, which is closed. Mormon Row is open with some construction activity.
• Work at Taggart Lake Trailhead and adjacent areas is intended to improve the visitor experience while safeguarding delicate natural resources.

Check current road and construction conditions before traveling; impacts can change.

Colter Bay and Leeks boat ramps are closed; Signal Mountain Boat Ramp is open, but water is below the ramp edge and loose cobbles make launching risky.

• NPS recommends hand-launching at Signal Mountain; if driving onto the ramp, launch at your own risk.
