Kīpukapuaulu Trail Closed

Nāhuku Lava Tube Partial Closure

Nāhuku Lava Tube is only partially open. Visitors must use the east “exit” end for one-way access; the rainforest trail to the front of the lava tube, the bridge, and the first 50 feet into the cave remain closed for bridge replacement. The park said the project should be complete by mid-August.Official details

Summit Construction Closures at Kīlauea Visitor Center

Expect closures and delays in the Kīlauea Visitor Center summit area due to a two-year project to repair or remove damaged buildings and infrastructure. Restrooms, sidewalk, lānai, and about half of the parking remain closed; a temporary Welcome Center and park store operate at Kīlauea Military Camp, with parking at the ball field and portable toilets available.
