Cunard Road: One-Lane Traffic and Temporary Signal

Cunard Road is open, but part of the road is reduced to one lane with a temporary traffic light. The park says delays of up to about 5 minutes are possible while waiting for the light. Rend Trail Bridge Closed Between Minden and Thurmond

The second bridge from the Minden side on the Rend Trail remains closed due to structural damage. Visitors can only travel about 1.96 miles in from the Thurmond side or 1.27 miles in from the Minden side, so do not plan on through-hiking the trail. Current closuresOfficial details

Weekday Trail Closure: Upper Kaymoor Miners Trail

From June 15 through November 19, the upper part of Kaymoor Miners Trail is closed Monday through Thursday from Kaymoor Top down to the mine site at the junction with Kaymoor Trail due to a trail rehab project. The trail is expected to be open Friday through Sunday.
