Olympic Hot Springs Road is closed to vehicles at Madison Falls, and Whiskey Bend Road is closed to vehicles because of the Olympic Hot Springs Road washout. - Both roads remain open to pedestrians, bicycles, and dogs on leashes; Olympic Hot Springs Road is also open to stock. - Madison Falls parking is open but limited; a toilet is open at the trailhead, but no further facilities are available beyond the gate. No potable water at Hurricane Ridge during construction
No potable water is available on Hurricane Ridge; bring what you need. - A major rehabilitation project is replacing the aging water system and upgrading utilities in the developed area. - Construction in the main parking lot may reroute some meadow trails for trenching; Victoria Overlook remains accessible. Portable restrooms and a temporary water system will be installed and used as needed, and asphalt patching and road striping may require temporary rolling closures. Mora Road closed beyond Mora Campground
Mora Road is closed to pedestrians, bicycles, and vehicles beyond Mora Campground from July 8 through October 15, 2026; Rialto Beach is inaccessible via this route. - Construction is repairing riverbank erosion caused by severe winter flooding along the Quillayute River at milepost 1.25 and fortifying the road against continued river migration and flooding events. - Mora Campground remains open.
