Scheduled US 101 Hoh River Bridge closures
The US 101 Hoh River Bridge will close to all traffic during scheduled overnight and multi-day closures from September 14 through October 13, 2026. - Overnight closures run 10:30 p.m.–5:30 a.m. each night from September 14 through September 22. - Multi-day closures run 5 a.m. September 24–5 p.m. September 29; 5 a.m. October 1–noon October 6; and 5 a.m. October 8–noon October 13. - There is no alternative route across the Hoh River; routes around the east side of the Olympic Peninsula add at least four hours. - The closure is south of Forks and the Hoh Rain Forest; during closures, Highway 101 cannot connect points north and south of the bridge. - WSDOT is closing the bridge for this scheduled work.
