Caneel Bay restricted areas and closed pier
At Caneel Bay, use only designated public areas; other areas and the pier remain closed.
- Areas beyond the public areas remain closed because of present safety risks. Public areas include the parking lot, paved pedestrian path to Caneel Beach, and Historic Durloo Plantation viewing area.
- The pier is closed because its structure has been deemed unsafe.
- The parking lot is open 7 a.m.–5 p.m. and secured with a locked gate outside those hours; retrieve your vehicle before closing to avoid being locked in.
