Getting There

Trail & Conditions

Expect a moderate outing overall: short, sometimes steep ups/downs, rocky and rooty stretches, a few stair sets, and intermittently wet or muddy spots after rain. The trail is well marked, and most hikers complete the full loop in 30–60 minutes, not counting photo time.

Evidence of beavers is everywhere, but actual sightings are hit‑or‑miss. Your odds improve at dawn or dusk. Keep an eye out for birds, frogs, and chipmunks around the ponds and meadow.
