Getting There
From the East Gate on Highway 60, it’s 5.6 km east to Whitney, then a short gravel road leads to the public launch on the east shore. If you like coordinates, aim for 45.489075, -78.242151.
Permits & Planning
Backcountry camping here is reservation‑only and can be booked up to five months in advance. You don’t need to pick up a paper permit—your reservation letter (printed or digital) is your permit.
