Overview
Black Point Park and Marina is a Miami-Dade County waterfront park and working marina beside Biscayne Bay, just west of Biscayne National Park. It gives boaters access to the park’s waters, but it is a county facility rather than an NPS entrance station or island stop. On land, you’ll find parking, public restrooms and a picnic pavilion; at the docks, visitors launch boats, paddle, fish and watch the bay.

Guide
The 1.5-mile fishing jetty is the main land-based draw. It reaches into Biscayne Bay, so walking far out and back takes more time than a quick stop by the docks. You can fish from shore or follow the waterline for a longer walk; the marina itself is an easy place to watch boats without committing to the full jetty.
Black Point Ocean Grill sits beside the docks, with boardwalk and outdoor seating. Its menu covers seafood, steaks, salads and sandwiches, with seasonal offerings. The park’s picnic pavilion and grill make a useful alternative if you’re bringing food.
Visitors come for bay views, boat watching, walking and biking on the waterfront paths. Manatees are sometimes reported around the marina, especially in winter, though sightings are never assured. This is a useful place to spend time on Biscayne Bay or start a boat trip into the national park’s waters.
