Closures and updates
Check the alerts board before you head deeper into the park. As of November 28, 2025, the Iluka Beach day‑use area and beach access staircase are closed for repairs; the end of Iluka Road is closed, and Iluka Beach is accessible via the middle access on Iluka Road.
Best time to visit
Open daily 9 am–4 pm. For a quick, calm stop, come on weekdays right after opening. Late mornings to early afternoons on Saturdays are the busiest. Most people spend about 10 minutes here—budget a bit more if you want detailed route advice.

- A park pass is required to enter the park; you can purchase it online in advance or at the Visitor Centre (buying online speeds things up in peak periods).
- Beachside campgrounds are popular and book out quickly in peak seasons—reserve early if you’re camping.
