On the north shore of Legion Lake, this picnic area is the park’s easygoing lakeside hangout—tables and a shelter right by clear water, ponderosa pines, and dramatic granite outcrops. It’s adjacent to Legion Lake Lodge, so grabbing takeout or a coffee to enjoy at your table is painless.
