If a crowd gathers near the café trees, keep walking uphill for quieter viewing. You can drive the road, but it’s unsealed and rough in parts—walking the first stretch is usually best.

Aim for dawn or late afternoon when koalas are more active and light is softer. To dodge the bus rush, avoid roughly 11 a.m.–2 p.m., especially in peak summer. Weekdays are calmer than weekends.
