This Conservancy-run shop sits inside the Fall River Visitor Center just west of Estes Park on US‑34, right before the Fall River Entrance. It’s an easy, worthwhile stop to grab maps or a memento and get oriented before you roll into the park proper.
Every purchase directly supports the park—funding research, trail work, and education programs through the Conservancy. If you like your souvenirs to do some good, this is the place to shop.
The Nature Store shares a complex with a larger gift shop and a sit‑down restaurant next door, so you can pair your quick shop with a meal if you need one. Because the center sits before the entrance station, you can stop here without a timed‑entry permit.
Midday (roughly late morning to early afternoon) is the pinch point for crowds and parking. Swing by near opening or later in the afternoon for an easier experience. Plan 20–30 minutes if you want to browse the store and check the exhibits.
