Overview
Càrn a' Gheòidh is a 975 m Munro rising above the Glenshee side of the southern Cairngorms. Most people link it with Carn Aosda and The Cairnwell, but this one feels the most natural and remote of the trio—less scarred by ski infrastructure and better for that big-hill atmosphere.

If you’re after a quick-hit Munro day with real mountain vibes, this is the pick. The start is already high, so you get rapid access to open plateau and wide horizons. Many walkers reckon it’s the highlight of the Cairnwell Munros circuit.
