A practical, well-placed pit stop in the rainforest. These flush toilets sit in the Jindalba day‑use area at the base of Alexandra Range in Cow Bay, exactly where you’d want them before or after exploring the Jindalba Boardwalk.
Make this your staging point for the Jindalba Boardwalk: a short loop of roughly 650–800 m (about 30–60 minutes), plus an optional longer rainforest track (~3 km return). Keep an eye out on the boardwalk for rainforest regulars like cassowaries, musky rat‑kangaroos, and bright birdlife.
Anytime works for a bathroom break, but daylight pairs best if you’re adding the boardwalk stroll or a picnic. Early or late in the day tends to feel calmer and cooler under the canopy.
Entry is free and the area is generally well maintained with interpretive signage nearby. Note that the day‑use area was temporarily closed from January 28 to November 12, 2025; check current park alerts before you go.
