Jindalba Circuit Track is a 3 km loop through dense lowland rainforest at the base of Mount Alexandra, crossing several rainforest creeks before returning by a different path. Allow about 1.5 hours. Queensland Parks grades it Grade 4 and recommends reasonable fitness. Choose it for time in the forest and creek crossings; the easy boardwalk nearby is a separate, shorter walk.

From the Daintree ferry, drive 10 km north on Cape Tribulation Road, turn right onto Tulip Oak Road 2 km past Mount Alexandra lookout, then continue 1 km to Jindalba car park. Flush toilets are listed at the day-use area, but food and drinking water on-site weren’t found. There are no wheelchair-accessible facilities, and domestic pets aren’t allowed. Daintree waterways may hold crocodiles, so stay out of the creeks and follow warning signs. The region gets frequent heavy downpours from December to April; May to September is cooler and drier.
