This is a paid, self-guided network of rainforest boardwalks and interpretation, not a single signed loop. A full walk of the Aerial Walkway, Bush Tucker Trail and Cassowary Circuit is about 0.55 miles round trip, including short retraces along their branches. The operator’s 400 metres describes the combined raised boardwalks, not the distance you walk to cover the network. Give the paths and tower about an hour; you can make it shorter by choosing only the Aerial Walkway.

The 1.2-metre-wide steel-grate walkway rises gently to mid-canopy, with a rest node about halfway. It reaches roughly 11 metres above ground, so you get a close look into the forest without a long hike. At the viewing platform, keep some of the rail in the frame; it helps show how high you are.

The Cassowary Circuit passes through a natural cassowary corridor where many of the birds’ favourite fruits grow, and stops at McLean’s Lookout. Sightings aren’t guaranteed. The Bush Tucker Trail interprets Kuku Yalanji uses of rainforest plants and fruits. The centre also highlights a 500-year-old strangler fig and has a dinosaur exhibit, so this feels like a small rainforest attraction as much as a walk.

The Aerial Walkway suits most wheelchairs, though its metal grating can catch small front casters when they turn sideways; lower paths have uneven terrain and may not work for every mobility device. The step-free Jarrabina Terraces is shown on the centre map and described as linking to the Aerial Walkway, but it isn’t named in the current admission-inclusions list, so confirm access before planning around it. The café, gift shop and accessible toilets are at reception. Leave pets at home; guide and service dogs are allowed.
