Overview

Housed inside the historic Lamar Bathhouse on Bathhouse Row, the Bathhouse Row Emporium is the park’s official store—part gift shop, part learning hub. It’s where you can grab thoughtful souvenirs and dive deeper into the story of the springs without feeling like you’re in a generic tourist shop.

What you’ll find

• A well‑curated selection of books on Hot Springs history, local flora and fauna, and other national parks.
• Postcards, bath-related souvenirs, refillable glass/plastic water bottles, whetstones, and classic luffa mitts.
• An exclusive line of spa products made with the park’s hot spring water.
• Coffee and other hot beverages brewed with thermal spring water—fun to try after strolling the Row.

Every purchase directly supports educational programs in the park, so it’s easy to feel good about picking up that extra book or bar of soap.

Hours and passes

Open daily 9 am–5 pm (often with extended hours in summer). The Emporium no longer sells America the Beautiful passes. For passes such as Access, Military, Veterans, and Every Kid Outdoors, head to the Fordyce Bathhouse Visitor Center on the Row. Card payments are accepted.

Best time to visit

If you’d rather browse in peace, aim for opening hour (around 9 am) or late afternoon after 3 pm. Midday—especially on weekends—sees the most traffic along Bathhouse Row and inside the shop. Parking in the area is a mix of metered and free options; plan to park once and explore on foot.
