Heritage Blinman Mine sits just west of town and is a separate attraction. Its guided tour takes you through genuine underground tunnels, shafts and chambers, with sound-and-light storytelling about the miners' work. Allow about 55 minutes. The route has uneven ground and a moderate slope, isn't wheelchair accessible, and has places where taller visitors need to duck.
A free self-guided surface walk takes about 20 to 30 minutes, passing the main shaft and slag heap before reaching the old boiler. That is an easy way to see the above-ground remains without taking the underground tour. The mine ran in several periods, so its history is longer than a single copper boom.
