This is the go-to bathroom stop at the start of the Historic Railroad Trail, right by the Lake Mead (Alan Bible) Visitor Center. It’s the last reliable pit stop before the easy, scenic rail-bed walk with tunnels and lake views.

- A vault toilet is noted at the lower trailhead. Along the route toward Hoover Dam, additional toilets and occasional water stations have been reported, but availability isn’t guaranteed—plan as if there aren’t any after you leave the trailhead.
Why It Matters
Once you’re on the trail, services are sparse. The route runs roughly 3.7 miles one-way toward Hoover Dam with big desert views and very little shade, so starting hydrated and prepared makes a big difference.
