The Katherine Landing Store is the marina’s grab‑and‑go hub at Lake Mohave—think cold drinks, snacks, charcoal, bait, and basic fishing/boating supplies without leaving the water scene. It’s part of a full‑service setup with fuel on land and on the water, rentals, repairs, slips, and dry storage, so you can top off both your cooler and your tank in one stop.
If you’re launching, this is the simplest place to pick up forgotten items and bait right before you hit the coves. It saves a run back to town (Laughlin and Bullhead City are close, but not close enough when you’re already at the ramp).
Lake Mohave’s coves often host shorebirds and ducks. Keep food sealed—ravens and other opportunists are quick studies. Afternoon winds can rise, so plan your boating/fishing windows accordingly.
Weekdays are typically easier. Friday afternoons tend to be the busiest around the marina, and weekend afternoons can feel jammed. In the hot months, shop early to beat both heat and crowds; in the cooler season, mornings offer smooth, low‑stress prep before you launch.
Operations can differ from other park services during federal shutdowns, but the concessionaire has noted the marina/store may remain open—always check for the latest notice before you go. If you need specific bait or niche parts, call ahead to confirm the store has them.
