A tiny, no-frills base tucked in the Grande Anse Valley about 5 km from Pleasant Bay, MacIntosh Brook Campground is the park’s simplest stay: 10 unserviced, first‑come self‑registration sites in an open grassy loop beside a babbling brook. It runs May 16–October 26, 2025. If you like quiet and convenience over bells and whistles, this is your spot.
This is frontcountry camping at its most pared‑back. Sites sit near a day‑use area and feel exposed compared to larger campgrounds—great for a quick overnight or low‑key base, less ideal if you crave privacy. The kitchen shelter is the MVP here: a dry, windproof hangout to cook, linger, and meet other travelers.
With only 10 sites, summer weekends can fill—arrive earlier in the day during peak months. Midweek nights are typically quieter. The campground operates May 16–October 26, 2025; outside those dates, plan on day use only in this area.
Fire restrictions can change quickly—check current advisories before you strike a match or rely on the shelter stoves. Pets are welcome; keep them leashed and follow park rules.
