Paul Kruger Gate is one of the main entry points into the park’s southern section, set beside the Sabie River. Access roads to the gate are fully tarred, and the gate area itself is straightforward: check in, pay, and roll straight onto game-rich roads. Many travelers make a quick stop on the bridge over the Sabie for a photo before or after their drive.

Gate process: Have your booking and identification ready. You’re asked to complete a Gate Registration & Indemnity Form before arrival and hand it to the gate official at check-in.
Payments: Credit and debit cards are accepted.
Facilities: Restrooms are available at the gate area.
Late arrivals: In genuine emergencies, late entry escorts are offered at select gates. From this gate, escorts to Skukuza are available until 21:00 for guests with pre-booked accommodation within 10 km of the gate (fee applies). Plan to arrive within normal hours if at all possible.
