Logistics

Amenities are minimal by design: parking and a scenic viewpoint, nothing more. Bring your own water and sun protection; there’s essentially no shade. Need services? Drop down Willow Beach Road to the marina/campground area for restrooms and supplies; the marina store typically runs 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with rentals 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. The Black Canyon Grill is closed for the season and scheduled to reopen March 1, 2026. Treat reentry to US-93 with care—traffic is fast.

Best Time to Visit

Golden hours are the move. Sunrise and late afternoon add warm light to the canyon walls and cut the harsh midday glare. Midday tends to be busiest; mornings and late-day see lighter turnover. Most people linger about 10 minutes, which keeps things moving.
