Getting There
You’ll reach it via the Lago Toro/Serrano approach, roughly 145 km from Puerto Natales and about 33 km from the Sarmiento Gate. Drivers typically follow Route 9 and then Y-290 toward the Serrano/Lago Toro sector.
Buses and Access
In high season, park buses commonly run the Laguna Amarga – Pudeto – Administración route twice daily. If you’re depending on public transport, confirm your specific operator’s schedule and that they stop at “Administración.”

Typical hours run 08:30–20:00, but they can shift with the season. Plan a little flexibility if you’re timing a same‑day stop for questions or paperwork.
Best Time to Visit
Mornings are quieter and make for an easy in‑and‑out before you head deeper into the park. Midafternoon on weekdays can be busier, so aim earlier if you want unhurried time with the exhibits or staff.

What This Is Not
Don’t confuse this with the private Las Torres Welcome Center near Laguna Amarga. Use Las Torres if you’re starting hikes like Base Torres or need a café and shop; come to Administración for the park’s official information and exhibits on the Lago Toro side.
