Guide
McManus Lake Access Point (#21) is a backcountry access at the south end of McManus Lake. Its main use is picking up canoeists finishing a Petawawa River trip from Lake Travers. This is a practical stop for a planned canoe route, not a sightseeing stop to add on its own.
Travel downstream from McManus Lake on the Petawawa River is prohibited because of the military artillery range. Upstream travel becomes difficult beyond Whitson Lake, so plan the route around those limits.
