What the Rides Are Like

Rides are nose‑to‑tail at a walking pace—great for first‑timers and kids. The 1‑hour loop is a popular intro, while the 2‑hour ride buys you a quieter feel and cooler temps if you snag an early slot. Longer and half‑day options exist, but in this Apgar/Lake McDonald zone you’re still mostly in the trees. Wildlife is possible (deer are most likely; the occasional bear has been spotted) but never guaranteed—mornings improve your odds.
