Sheoak Falls and Swallow Cave Track

What You’ll See

You’ll start on a formed path and boardwalk with quick views back to the Southern Ocean before the track ducks inland along ferny Sheoak Creek. A signed spur drops to the base of Sheoak Falls, where the creek fans 15 m down a dark rock face into a tranquil pool. Continue up the main track for the Swallow Cave spur. Reaching the cave viewpoint requires a stepping‑stone creek crossing to a platform opposite the grotto—great for spotting seasonal Tree Martins nesting in the warmer months. Along the way: eucalypt woodland, mossy creek scenes, a smaller cascade, and a few photogenic rock pools.
