Guide
The Lake Louise Visitor Centre is a staffed information stop at Samson Mall in the village, near the Icefields Parkway’s southern end. Use it to get oriented and plan what you want to see along the drive.
Staff can help with itineraries, activities, shuttles, sightseeing and seasonal travel. Parks Canada visitor centres offer maps, brochures, permits and backcountry reservations, along with weather, trail, avalanche and road reports and interpretive exhibits. Check the current information for your destination before setting out.
Public washrooms and Wi-Fi are useful if you’re making a practical stop. Lake Louise also has restaurants and cafes in the community, separate from the information desk.
