Rawnsley Park Station is a private pastoral property and visitor base on the southern approach to Wilpena Pound, along Flinders Ranges Way. It is known for stays ranging from eco-villas and holiday units to a homestead, caravan sites and off-grid camping, but there is more to do than settle in. The 29,000-acre property sits beside Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park, just outside its boundary. Rawnsley Bluff marks the southern tip of the Pound and gave the station its name. Tourism began as a sideline to grazing and is now the station’s main enterprise; its first cabin went up in 1968.
