• Books, topo maps, and educational materials tailored to Road’s End trailheads like Bubbs Creek and Paradise Valley.
• It’s not a general market. For food, drinks, and basic camping supplies, plan on Cedar Grove Market and other village stores before you drive to the end of the road.
• Don’t count on bear-canister rentals here—plan to rent or buy before reaching Cedar Grove.

Permits & Seasonality

During quota season (roughly late May through late September), the permit desk here typically operates in the morning and early afternoon for pickup and validation. Walk-up permits are released the afternoon prior, and lines can form on busy days. In non-quota season, a 24/7 self-issue kiosk sits right outside. Store hours can be different from the permit desk and vary seasonally, so check posted times on arrival.
