Safari & Wildlife

You’re in a private Singita concession, which means low vehicle density and the ability to go off‑road when appropriate—excellent for tracking big cats and rare sightings. Drives usually run early morning and late afternoon into the evening, with roughly 6 guests per vehicle and the same guide/tracker team throughout your stay. If animals cross from the concession into the public park, off‑roading stops and you may have to leave the sighting. Reported highlights include lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, wild dog and plentiful raptors. Vehicles have USB/plug charging so your cameras stay ready.

Rooms & Facilities

There are 13 glassy, contemporary suites, most elevated over the river for sweeping views. The aesthetic is immersive and open—great for scenery, but note the glass-forward, open-plan bathrooms and limited privacy. Expect mosquito nets, air‑conditioning, minibar and fridge; there’s no TV. Around the lodge you’ll find two swimming pools, a fitness center, spa treatments, a wine studio, boutique, multimedia room and a rooftop viewing area. Wi‑Fi is included (one review noted it can be modest in speed). After dark, staff will escort you to and from your suite.

Dining & Drinks

Meals and premium wines/spirits are included. Portions are generous, but feedback on food quality can vary; some nights may lean into a communal, camp‑style setup. If you prefer privacy, ask the team to arrange private dining.

Getting There

Reaching Lebombo typically involves a flight to the region, a light-aircraft hop to Singita’s airstrip, then about a 45‑minute road transfer. It’s a journey, so plan connections carefully. Daytime-only flights apply, and the lodge includes Satara airstrip transfers in your stay.

Best Time to Visit

The magic hours are built in: dawn and late afternoon/evening drives deliver the best wildlife movement and the most flattering light for photography. Midday is for the pools, spa, or a nap. Thanks to the private concession, you’ll avoid the worst of Kruger’s vehicle crowds regardless of day of the week.
