Campsites & Facilities

You’ll find full‑hookup RV sites (back‑in and pull‑through) plus separate tent sites. Every site has a table and fire ring; tent sites add lantern poles. Getting There & Layout

A steep, winding, roughly 4‑mile paved road drops from the highway to the river. It’s fine for most rigs—just take it slow. The campground sits above the shoreline; it’s an easy drive but a sweaty uphill walk back from the water in heat.

On the Water

The marina below rents boats, kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards, with a launch ramp, fishing dock, fuel, and a small store plus a simple restaurant/grill. Kayakers love the paddle to Emerald Cave (about 2.5 miles upstream). Anglers target trout and bass. The river stays very cold, which feels glorious on triple‑digit days—use PFDs and common sense; there are no lifeguards.
