The Drovers Inn is a historic stone inn, pub and restaurant beside the A82 at Inverarnan, near the northern end of Loch Lomond. Established in 1705, it served cattle drovers travelling towards the markets. Today the draw is the building’s character as much as the chance to eat: dark bar rooms, a fire and an entrance hall crowded with taxidermy, including a full-size bear.
Come for a meal or a drink if an old-fashioned, slightly eccentric pub appeals. You can experience the inn without booking a bedroom. It’s a useful stop on the drive between Loch Lomond and Crianlarich, and a place to settle in after walking in the surrounding hills.
