Metcalf-Huntington Grove Trail is an 0.8-mile out-and-back from Walker Road through an unmarked redwood grove to two memorial benches. It's a quick change of pace beside Simpson-Reed, with a creek view and less traffic noise. The route page records about 60 feet of climbing; allow around 30 minutes, plus time if you want to sit or look down at the creek. The main path is clear, but it isn't a maintained nature trail.

Start a few yards beyond the Walker Road bridge. The wide, clear path meanders through redwoods, passes one bench and ends a few yards after the second. Turn around there. A faint continuation follows an embankment above the creek and loops back to the second bench; it isn't part of this mapped walk. From the grove, you can see the creek, and a worn side path reaches its gravel-lined bed. No creek crossing is required. A natural east-west break in the canopy holds late-afternoon light after nearby Simpson-Reed gets darker.
