Guide
Jedediah Smith Visitor Center is a small, seasonal information center inside the campground at Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park, beside its amphitheater and about nine miles northeast of Crescent City. Stop for maps, visitor information, exhibits and a Junior Ranger program, plus a compact bookstore and gift shop. Visitors especially value getting help from staff as they choose groves and roads to explore.
Treat this as an orientation stop more than a museum visit. The center is small, and its strength is practical help before you head out among the redwoods.
