Perched on a hill above the plains near the Grumeti River, this spot shines when the Great Migration sweeps through roughly May–July. Expect dramatic game viewing in that window as herds gather and predators follow. Outside peak season there’s still solid resident wildlife, and the lounge keeps a spotting scope handy so you can scan right from camp.

Meals lean formal—in a good way. Expect structured multi‑course lunches and dinners with silver service, plus hearty breakfasts. Bush dinners under the stars are on offer. Note: drinks are charged separately, so budget accordingly.

The headline is guided game drives timed to the migration. You can also book hot‑air balloon flights at dawn, massage treatments back at camp, and even day trips to Lake Victoria (about 45 km) that may include a village visit. Swahili lessons and occasional cooking sessions add a fun cultural touch.

Fly into the nearby Grumeti/Kirawira airstrip and transfer to camp, or arrive overland as part of a longer northern circuit. Three to four nights is the sweet spot—long enough to catch the movement of wildlife and enjoy a balloon morning without rushing.

The camp is unfenced; wildlife can wander through, and staff escort you after dark. Minimum age is typically 7 for children. Service is attentive and polished, but the atmosphere can feel a bit formal—great if you love classic style, less so if you want ultra‑casual bush‑camp vibes.
