Roving Bushtops is the Serengeti’s high‑comfort, small‑scale mobile camp: just eight tented suites, polished service, and serious game viewing without the crowds. It roves to be where the wildlife is, pairing five‑star touches with the thrill of a true bush setting.

Where It Roves (and Why It Matters)

Beginning June 1, 2025, the camp focuses on two prime zones: December–March in Kusini (southern Serengeti) for calving season drama, then June–October in the far north, a short hop from the Mara River for potential river crossings and even chances of rhino in the Bologonja area. Herd movements aren’t clockwork, but this routing stacks the odds in your favor.

Wildlife You’re Here For

Expect big cats year‑round and, in season, vast wildebeest and zebra herds with attendant predators. Game drives are private and unhurried in open vehicles, so you set the pace—ideal for photography and lingering with a sighting.

Tents & Camp Life

Each spacious suite opens to a large timber deck with loungers and a sunken tub, plus indoor comforts like a king bed and full en‑suite bathroom. Some suites add private hot tubs. You get a private butler, complimentary laundry, and even an included spa treatment—luxury without losing the sense of being under canvas. The camp is solar‑powered and unfenced, so escorts after dark are standard.

Getting There

Typical access is a light‑aircraft hop to a Serengeti airstrip, then game‑drive transfer to camp. For the northern season, Kogatende works well; for central/southern access, Seronera Airstrip is common after about a 1.5‑hour flight from Arusha.
