• A simple coffee stand may operate, but options are minimal—don’t count on full food service.
• Short-stay vehicle staging for safari pick-ups rather than long-term public parking.
• The Seronera Visitor Information Centre (with café and curio shop) and TANAPA HQ are just a few minutes’ drive away, and the wider Seronera hub has fuel, small shops, a dispensary, and campsites.

Getting Here & Moving On

Regular regional flights link Seronera with Arusha, Kilimanjaro area, Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar, and other bush strips. Your guide typically meets you at the plane. By road, plan roughly two hours from either Naabi Hill (east) or Ndabaka (west) gates. It’s not a walking environment—wildlife is active—so transfers are by vehicle only.

You’re landing in the Big Cat heartland. The Seronera Valley’s year‑round water draws predators and plains game, and it’s a short drive to classic sightings. Even around the runway you may spot antelopes and big birds.

Best Time to Visit

For smoother processing and fewer crowds, early morning or mid‑afternoon is quieter. Late morning (around 9–11 am) is typically the busiest window when multiple flights cluster. If you’re departing, arrive with a healthy cushion—turnarounds are tight and weather can cause ripples.
