Expect sweeping Rocky Mountain walls hemming in clear, cold, glacial water. From the lake you’ll get wide-angle perspectives that shore-bound visitors miss. The lake is linked to its siblings by natural narrows—the “Bosporus” to Upper and the “Dardanelles” to Lower—so it feels like part of a larger, connected water world.
