Getting there
The turnout is just past Castle Mountain Chalets when driving from Banff toward Lake Louise. This is a small pull-off with a short path or steps to the platform, so plan on a brief roadside stop.

Guide
Castle Cliffs Lookout is a small roadside viewpoint on the Bow Valley Parkway, just west of Castle Junction. A short path from the turnout rises to an elevated platform with an information board and a close view of Castle Mountain's cliff face. It's a quick leg stretch, not the separate uphill Castle Mountain Lookout hike. Some visitors find the view modest, so I'd treat it as a brief break rather than plan a detour around it.
The broad face of Castle Mountain rises above the forest, and its layered rock gives the view its shape. For a photo, keep some conifers along the bottom of the frame to show the wall's scale. The same cliffs look different under summer greenery and winter snow.
