CLOSURE

Bow Valley Parkway fall vehicle restriction

Public vehicle access is restricted on the eastern 17 km of the Bow Valley Parkway between Fireside Day-use Area and Johnston Canyon from September 1 through October 6. - The restriction supports a vehicle-free cycling experience; all non-vehicular travel is permitted, including cycling and walking. - Parks Canada and utility vehicles may still use the narrow road. Services are limited, so bring sufficient food, water and appropriate gear, and watch for service vehicles. Check the current Bow Valley Parkway conditions and dates before travelling.
